From First Fitting to Final Shape
Step 1: Begin with a Consultation
Custom bookings open twice a year. Your first appointment is a one-hour consultation in the atelier, where we talk through fit, materials, shape, and the details you want this hat to carry. Your consultation deposit goes toward the final cost of the hat.
Step 2: Build the Hat
After the first appointment, Dana begins the making process. Every custom hat moves at its own pace, but the build takes 3 to 6 months. The focus is on getting it right, not getting it done quickly.
Step 3: Final Fitting or Delivery
When the hat is ready, you can return to the studio for a second fitting and final shaping, or have it shipped if you feel confident in the design. The goal is a finished piece that feels natural, balanced, and fully your own.

Each custom hat comes with a cleaning brush, a hat hanger, a dust bag, and a 3D printed last of your head to help it keep its shape over time.
